An intentional marketing agency … founded by accident
Owners and brothers, Adam and John Broetje, didn’t mean to start a marketing agency. It started as a simple online community for commercial divers (random, we know) called cDiver. But it turns out, creating, promoting, and moderating an online forum for a specific industry was really just digital marketing all along — and inspired the Broetjes to build something bigger.
Odd Dog has operated as a full-service digital marketing agency since 2008. We help our clients develop strategies that reach their target audience and entice them to become customers, while also developing and integrating the technical systems that bring it all to life. This combination allows us to drive exceptional results that have helped us become an award-winning agency.

Our mission, put simply, is to help small and medium-sized businesses succeed. What “success” looks like is different for each business, and we collaborate with them to define and achieve it. Working With Odd Dog
Every client we work with receives the same level of care, transparency, and partnership that defines our agency. While each project looks a little different, there are a few consistent features that you can expect.
Dedicated Marketing Contact: You will have a dedicated contact from our team. This person is trained as a generalist, with experience across all of our service areas, and will manage communication, strategy, and execution throughout the project. They are also backed by an entire team of experts who regularly collaborate and share ideas.
Kickoff Meeting: We begin every project with a kickoff call to align on goals, timelines, and key performance metrics. This meeting sets the foundation for a smooth and successful engagement.
Reporting & Communication: We trust the data to guide our next steps, so we monitor and assess performance and report out to you, typically monthly.
Escalation Support: If you ever have an urgent issue or concern, you will have contact information for a member of our leadership team who can step in immediately. Although this is rarely needed, it ensures that you always have a clear path for support.
Partnership Commitment: We value long-term partnerships built on trust and measurable success, and we take pride in being the kind of team you enjoy working with.

Odd Dog has also worked with a number of nonprofits over the years, providing discounted marketing services to support their growth and missions, or volunteering directly with the organization.
The purpose of our Leadership Team is to support the growth of Odd Dog and pursue its mission: to help small and medium-sized businesses succeed. Each member of the Leadership Team owns one of our primary company pillars, which are currently Sales, Marketing, Technology, Operations, and People.
